Republic Diesel acquired the assets of A-C Brake Co. in April 2008 when the owners were looking to implement their succession plan.

A-C Brake has built a reputation for being able to serve its customers and now has additional distribution thru Republic Diesel’s Jeffesonville Indiana,  Louisville, Lexington, and Prestonsburg, Kentucky branches. We are proud to offer a Special Order Service (SOS) where we will locate hard-to-find parts. We employ ASE certified mechanics who average 10 years of service. They are so competent that they are often called upon to repair vehicles that our competitors can not.

Our customer base has evolved over the past thirty years. No longer just an automotive parts house, we consider ourselves to be a heavy-duty fleet and industrial specialist. Our customers are fleets, municipalities, contractors, mines, and industry. However, we will always serve our customers who need brake parts and service for automobiles, trucks, and industrial applications.
